Renewing and furnishing of offices in Milan

  • Year: 2011

Project for the adaptation of areas and furnishings of an office in Sant'Ambrogio's square in Milano. The office area is about 180 m²; it is situated on the last floor of a building which is against Sant'Ambrogio's basilica and it is design as a "mansard". The framework of the roof is made of metallic truss. As long as it is possible, they are visible and decorate the large room. The area is organized as an open space and sometimes divided by crystal sliding doors.
The doors are not total transparent, but decorated with graphic styles. The floor, as all the furniture, are made by wood oak: this helps the feeling of a friendly and confortable place, so different from the model of the modern office, which in many cases are trite and sad.
